Dear Friends of URT,

This season you can explore the world of imagination and possibility with the Underground Railway Theater. The characters of Grace Paley’s work spring to life in the world premiere of States of Grace, as the protagonist, Faith, seeks hope in a troubled world. Questions of self and mind, science and emotion are intriguingly probed in the free staged reading of On Ego: are we merely bundles of neurons, or thinking, caring individuals? The Page to Stage program presents a Young Playwrights Festival, there will be three Theater Intensives for young performers, and Art InterACTions returns to the MFA and helps launch the new ICA.

These programs, once only imaginary, are now an exciting reality! We will continue to create programs that challenge and delight, inform and celebrate, but to do so we need your help. Imagine what your contribution this season will make possible for next season, when we move into the Central Square Theater, our first theater home after 28 years of touring!
