MFA Art Interactions Underground Railway Theater is pleased to be in residence at Boston's Museum of Fine Arts again this fall. URT actors lead three 40-minute tours in conjunction with the MFA's Games of the Gods exhibition, using performance and improvisation to help museum visitors connect more deeply and more personally with works of art. Enjoyable for all age levels, tours will be held on Oct. 11, Oct. 16, and Nov. 27th. Tours times are 11:30am, 12:30pm, and 1:30pm. |
Dear Friends of URT, We have cast you in a leading role this fall! Underground Railway Theater will be seeking your feed-back in lively conversation with the performers, playwrights and directors after each of our two stage readings this fall. Your opinions will help shape the future of two new plays: Small Infinities, about Newton’s struggle with science and his soul, and A State of Grace, based on the writings of poet/activist Grace Paley. We also welcome new artists to the company, and receive kudos from colleagues in this issue. We look forward to seeing you at the theater this fall, and as always, please send us any feedback that you have on our e-newsletter express!
